Who is it for?
This course is suitable for anybody.

6.5hours (1x day)

Course Content:

Understanding the role of the first aider
Primary Assessment
Recovery position
Secondary Assessment
CPR – Adult/Child & Baby
Burns and Scalds
Head, Spinal & Eye Injuries
Bleeding and Wounds / Fractures and Dislocations
Shock Management/ Epilepsy and Febrile Convulsions
Anaphylactic & Electrical Shock/Asthma

Outcome:
At the end of the course successful delegates will be able to:

Act safely, promptly and effectively in an emergency
Administer first aid and Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Promptly and effectively

Assessment:
Assessment is ongoing throughout the day.

On successful completion of this course delegates will be receive a Certificate valid for 3 x years.

Lunch Arrangements

Although the course does not include lunch, we are 5 minutes walk from Cleboury Mortimer High Street, where there are many options for lunch. We have Chip Shops, Sandwich Shops, Cafes and Pub & Restaurant options
We will be happy to recommend somewhere on the day based on your preferences.

Getting here and parking at the venue

We have our own car park capable of holding 20 cars, should this be full, free parking is available on the larger car park to the right of the main entrance. There are also two other free car parks within a few minutes walk.
