About the centre
Cleobury Country is a social enterprise company, founded in 2006, to supply business services to local businesses and the community of Cleobury Mortimer and the surrounding area.
The Cleobury Country Centre, houses 6 fully serviced offices and Cleobury Library, a Meeting Room and a Training Room and Hot Desk spaces.
If offers training courses in First Aid, Food Hygiene, Fire Marshal and Health & Safety in levels 2 and 3.
We provides secretarial services: photocopying (A4 & A3), laminating (A4 & A3) and scanning (up to A3). Copying of larger quantities can be catered for, along with enlarging and reducing documents.
We have business cards of local businesses available for customers to take away, simply drop them off with us!
We can help to signpost start-up businesses looking for help and support via Marches Growth Hub https://www.marchesgrowthhub.co.uk/about-us/mgh-shropshire/, and we can provide assistance with producing adverts for local press and introduce B2B customers to one another.
We have a Jobs Boards for any local businesses to advertise their vacancies free of charge.
We curate an online Business Directory of local businesses that’s free to advertise in and access, and produces a printed version, The Cleobury Country Trade Card. This is an annual 12 page A4 booklet of local businesses in category order, where businesses can advertise for a small fee and it is delivered locally to all households for free.
We can help the community access Blue Badges and Bus Passes and provides information on local groups/organisations.
All the above is offered from the Centre, whose building construction is energy efficient with controlled heating supplied by a ground source heat pump and photovoltaic panels on the roof, making is a showcase building for low-carbon technologies.
