"Cleobury Country - a premium of work/life balance in beautiful countryside"

What are Broadplaces?

Shropshire Broadplaces are a network of 36 community IT facilities throughout Shropshire that offer local residents, businesses and visitors access to broadband, computers and a range of other equipment.

Cleobury Broadplace can be found in the new Cleobury Country Centre in Love Lane.

The Broadplace is run by volunteers who share their knowledge by facilitating short ‘courses’. Informal drop in use of the computers for shopping and research is encouraged and is popular. Special sessions have been held to support early years learning, secondary support assistants, brownies and guides.

Several members of our community were trained by BBC staff in digital video filming – our Bell Inn Brass Band won an award for there May 2006 film of our local rugby team playing their final at Twickenham.

Businesses can benefit from wireless network for “ hot desk “ working.
