A special place to live, work & play

The Library

Cleobury Mortimer Library is one of 24 community libraries across Shropshire.

Membership is free and open to all, and a library ticket gives access to over half a million books and audio visual items, on line reference materials and internet access in all libraries countywide. Cleobury Library has a selection of books, DVDs and talking books which is designed to be of interest to all ages and is changed on a regular basis.

Three computers offer free access to the internet, and there is also free wi-fi for customers to access the internet via their own laptop, phone or tablet.

The library will be open whenever the Centre is open, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm and 10am to 12 noon on Saturday. At other times a self-service unit allows readers to issue and return their books but there will always be a member of staff on hand to help with placing requests, opening accounts, etc.

“The Friends of Cleobury Library” run regular events at the Library, from talks by local people of interest to art exhibitions.  For more information contact The Library on 01299 272 301.
