Your parish council has the statutory right to be consulted on planning applications and will also be consulted on many community and planning strategies.
Cleobury Country includes 9 parishes, two of which fall in Worcestershire(Bayton and Mamble) and seven in Shropshire(Cleobury Mortimer, Coreley, Hopton Wafers, Neen Sollars and Milson{formerly within South Shropshire District Council} Kinlet, Neen Savage, Stottesdon and Sidbury, Farlow and Oreton{formerly within Bridgnorth District Council})

Elections for the 74 Shropshire Councillors for the new council took place on 4th June 2009.
Two members will represent the Shropshire parishes within Cleobury Country with the addition of Wheathill.
