THE WONDERFUL SETTING FOR CLEOBURY COUNTRY FAIR Kinlet Hall and Church are set on a prominent plateau in Kinlet Park. The present hall was built in 1729 by William Lacon-Childe, removing the village around the church to it’s present location at the end of the long drive so as to create Kinlet Park & in 1800 its’ access along Dark Drive from Priors Moor below Billingsley. The Eagle & Serpent pub at the exit of the current drive probably existed as a pub from 1782. This event would not be possible without the financial support of:
